The Draft Horse is beloved by everyone, even non-horsemen. These gentle giants have been by man's side since very early centuries of our tenure on planet Earth, like the Percheron whose roots begin in the Ice Age. For many hundreds of years now they have helped us to earn our daily bread, with complete willingness in the face of any job we have asked them to do. In today's world there are some countries that breed the draft horse for meat, but here in America we honor them differently.
Draft Horses span the ancient and modern worlds, each breed with it's own unique characteristics, but all of them share the attributes of power, majesty, willingness and an especial kindness of character.
