Description: A variation of the standard snaffle bit, the D ring snaffle also has also been used for centuries in one form or another. Its name comes from the shape and the bit is used in training, in English riding disciplines and racing and in driving. Some antique D ring bits have very decorative "D" rings. With the bit's natural function of bending in the center of the linked bars, it also makes a superb ring for humans to wear on fingers, even the pinky! Available in 14K Gold or Sterling Silver. (Your shopping cart will provide space so you can tell us if you prefer white gold or yellow gold.)
